I have completed the modern medallion quilt top today. Here it is blowing in the air on this wonderful autumn day!
Yes, the quilt makes me smile, it is so crazy, mostly made from scraps. The grey ones are new, though, one of the fabrics is from the very trendy Cotton + Steel fabrics.
Can't wait to start quilting this one! (Thank you, Leah Day!)
Wonky blocks, they are addictive, and a huge contrast to the blocks I make from Civil War Diary and Dear Jane. I need them both, I think.
Our samojed dog is an old lady now, as she has turned 13 years in May.
Her health has been good so far, but she needs more rest and less mountain hiking than before..
I have a sister who is truly very clever creating, and look what she has done: Made a very nice copy of my mother's Sunday apron. She has even made two of them, one for my other sister as well! We are both very touched and happy for it!
I'm behind on my blocks with Leah Day, but here is one I have made today, paper pieced.
For ei gåve!
